Pandora Interactive
Founded in 2022 in Tours, Pandora Interactive is an independent French studio dedicated to creating ambitious and immersive video game worlds. The studio was originally created to develop Neon 2225, a cyberpunk science-fiction project centered on a complex futuristic world.
Given the technical and creative scale of Neon 2225, development was paused so the studio could gain more experience and consolidate its skills through a more accessible universe to produce. This reflection gave birth to Grimward, now the heart of the studio's development.
Pandora Interactive is currently composed of Itsnelys, founder and lead developer of the studio, supported by two external consultants who contribute occasionally in specialized areas.

Game systems
Every material, creature, and region has its own characteristics, feeding a living economy based on crafting, trade, and exploration. In Grimward, the player is not guided by a story: the world itself leads the experience.
Progression & freedom
Grimward is built around deep progression, combat, and customization systems. The player is not simply watching a narrative unfold: they shape their role, settlement, resources, and relationship with a world that reacts to their choices.
Our philosophy
Our ambition is to design emergent experiences where every game system contributes to immersion. Exploration, economy, crafting, progression, and survival should not be separate layers, but parts of one coherent world.
The world must be understandable, believable, and rich enough to generate its own gameplay situations.
The player should choose their path while still facing the constraints, dangers, and opportunities of the universe.
Resources, professions, trade, combat, and colony-building must interact to create a living economy.
A small team requires clear choices, solid documentation, and realistic priorities.
Since 2026, the studio has been developing its own C++ engine to control the specific needs of its projects.
A good game should make players want to return because its world continues to promise something.
Our history
Pandora Interactive was born with the ambition to develop independent games driven by strong worlds.
The studio started an ambitious cyberpunk project, later paused to strengthen its technical and creative experience.
The relocation to Chinon marked a new stage in the studio's organization.
Grimward became the main project: an open-world fantasy sandbox RPG centered on player freedom.
The studio is developing its own C++ game engine to keep full control over its technology.
